2.2 Where we suspend, prohibit or block your access to a part or the entirety of our website, you must not take any action to circumvent such suspension or prohibition or blocking, including without limitation creating and/or using a different account.

This also includes loss or corruption of any data, database or software or any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.

6. PFR website
6.1 When using our website, you may:

7. Registration and accounts
7.1 To be eligible for a valid account on our website, you must be a resident in one of the countries supported by our phone verification system. If you reside in a country not covered by phone number verification, please sign up here.
7.2 Although there is no official minimum age to sign up for paid research, most of our clients specifically request that all participants are over 18 and the Market Research Society’s Code of Conduct demands that we get parental authorisation before inviting individuals younger than 16 years old to take part in research.
7.3 You must not allow any other person to use your account to access the website and you must not use any other person’s account to access the website. We advise you to immediately notify us via phone or email if you become aware of any unauthorised or accidental use of your account.
7.4 Registered users with a PFR account will have access to additional features on our website, which include, but are not limited to:
- the ability to complete and update a detailed personal profile on our website;
- the ability to apply to paid research opportunities.
7.5 You acknowledge that we cannot be held responsible and you will not hold us liable for the behaviour of our users, either on or off the website, and we cannot guarantee that any information provided by a user is true, accurate, complete, current and not misleading.
7.6 All information that you supply as part of your personal account must be true, accurate, current and non-misleading.
7.7 We advise you to keep your personal profile on our website up to date, otherwise we might not be able to invite you or include you in paid research studies.
7.8 You must not create more than one account on our database. If you do so, our system will detect the duplicated account and temporarily or permanently block or close it.
7.9 You must use a real phone number to create an account on our system. Any accounts flagged due to use of fake phone numbers will be closed.
7.10 If a participant takes part in paid research or completes a paid task while providing fake information on their profile or during the application process, PFR reserves the right to not pay the incentive.
8. User IDs and passwords
8.1 If you register for an account on our website, you will be asked to provide an email address that will become your username, and to create a password. These will become your login details.
8.2 You must not use your account or user ID for or in connection with the impersonation of another person.
8.3 You must keep your log in details confidential and we advise that you immediately notify us via phone or email if you become aware of any disclosure of your password or breach of your account.
9. Cancellation and suspension of account
9.1 We may temporarily suspend or permanently close your account, or edit/update your account details at any time without notice or explanation.
9.2 You may close your account on our website by clicking the ‘Close account’ link at the bottom of your profile or request this via email to support@peopleforresearch.co.uk.
9.3 Closing your PFR account does not mean your personal data will be deleted – if you wish to do this, please email gdpr@peopleforresearch.co.uk and request the permanent deletion of your data. For more information on how we handle your data, please read our Privacy Policy.
10. Your feedback and content
10.1 From time to time, we may ask you to share your feedback and opinions with People for Research. This could be about your experiences on our website, our social media channels, after taking part in paid research, etc.
10.2 You agree that if you share any feedback or content with us in relation to your experiences on our platforms or after taking part in paid research, PFR are authorised to use your feedback (including direct quotes) across, but not limited to, our blogs, website, social media channels and digital or physical collateral.
10.3 Your feedback or content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any person’s legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action against any person (in each case in any jurisdiction and under any applicable law).
10.4 You must not share with us any content that is or has ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.
10. Third-party websites
10.1 Our website may include hyperlinks to other websites owned and operated by third-parties – such hyperlinks are not recommendations.
10.2 We have no control over third-party websites and their content, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
11. Competitions
11.1 From time to time we may run competitions, free prize draws and/or other promotions on our website and social media channels.
11.2 Competitions will be subject to separate terms and conditions, which will be made available to you.
